From 23 to 26 January, the professional UCI Cannondale ISB Sport team, one of the best mountain bike teams in our country, chose the Bages region, and specifically, Vilar de la Duquessa, in Cardona, to carry out one of its presentation and preparation stages for the 2025 season.

With a track record of 17 years competing at the elite of international mountain biking, the team participates in races all over the world such as the Capo Epic, the Titan Desert or the Brasil Ride, among others. The 2024 season was particularly successful for Cannondale ISB Sport, with overall victories at the Titan Desert du Maroc, Almeria, Arabia and the prestigious Swiss Epic.

This year, with a structure of eight cyclists of six different nationalities, the team has chosen the Vilar de la Duquesa as the ideal place to spend a few days of tranquility and make the last training before starting the season 2025.

In addition to the sporting preparation, these days have also been used for photo shoots and promotional videos of the team in local locations, such as the Montaña de Sal and the Castell de Cardona. The cyclists have trained on the roads of Bages and have carried out performance tests taking advantage of the unbeatable conditions for cycling offered by the roads and paths of the region.

The stay of Cannondale ISB Sport in Cardona reaffirms the interest of the Bages region and facilities such as Vilar de la Duquesa as an ideal destination for both amateur and professional cyclists.
